The Sentry RP Series DVR provides increased usability and user-friendliness through improved navigation and layout. Its new graphical interface is more attractive to the eye, and helps make the system easier to setup and configure. The Sentry RP Series of DVR is a high quality digital video recorder supporting up to 40 cameras, providing real-time audio/video using H.264 hardware compression technology and offering the capability to record video at full D1 (704x480).H.264 hardware compression provides real-time recording speed, amazing video quality with resolution up to 704 x 480 and remarkably small file sizes, allowing remote users to view high quality live and recorded video at fast speeds. In addition, audio recording is available on all channels with complete synchronization with video.

All Sentry RP Series DVRs have a partitioned hard drive with software loaded in a small partition. The balance of the disk is used for recording. A recovery disk is made of the software partition and supplied with the system. The recovery CD is self booting and can be used to re-install the total software environment, if necessary, without affecting any recorded video or audio. System restore software is included for software recovery. Original CDs and manuals of all included software are provided.
