Sentry IP cameras provide resolutions up to 720x480 pixels, equivalent to Hi-Res analog CCTV cameras but at a price point well below that of megapixel cameras. For many applications this resolution is more than good enough, with the added benefit of providing lower bandwidth usage.

Sentry IP631W Wireless IP MPEG4 Short Body Camera The Sentry IP631W wireless IP short body camera provides an unparalleled level of performance and ease-of-use at an excellent price point. Featuring a progressive scan CMOS sensor and 802.11b/g wireless connectivity (standard RJ45 cable connection as well), this camera is particularly suited for use when wired network infrastructure isn’t available. Sentry IP831HIR-VP-VF Vandal/Weather Resistant High Resolution MPEG4 Mini-Dome IP Camera The Sentry IP831HIR-VP-VF camera features a 3-axis gimbal that allows it to be mounted on vertical, horizontal and slanted surfaces, while still maintaining a correct picture perspective. The IP66 rated aluminum housing with polycarbonate dome makes this camera an excellent choice when a vandal and weather resistant mini-dome is required. A 3 to 9 mm vari-focal auto-iris lens allows the field of view to be set and maintains video brightness under changing light conditions. The high resolution Sony CCD provides 520 TV lines of resolution that is output from the camera as digital video, at up to full D1 (720x480) pixel resolution, as well as analog video through a secondary BNC output connector. In normal lighting, video is output in color, switching to black and white in light levels lower than 0.05 Lux. 24 IR LEDs provide up to a 20M (60ft) range in complete darkness.
