GeoVision IP Camera

Fixed GV-IP cameras feature a 1.3 megapixel Sony progressive scan CCD or 1.3 megapixel progressive scan CMOS image sensor and have the ability to fully integrate with all current Sentry V Series DVRs and V-NVRs, providing a high resolution IP video surveillance solution. GV-IP cameras can be accessed using the GV-NVR software, GV-Multicam, MultiView, Center V2 and/or Internet browser allowing basic remote viewing/recording over any IP network. Models V-83M/IP, V-63M/IP, V-63M-DN/IP and V-83M-VP/IP feature dual codec MJPEG and MPEG4 compression while model V-63MH/IP also adds H.264 compression for improved 1280x720 compression and transmission.

Indoor and outdoor GV-IP PTZ cameras feature optical zoom of 18X, 23X or 36X as well as digital zoom of 10X. All GV-IP PTZ cameras fully integrate with Sentry V Series DVRs and NVRs and provide resolutions up to full D1 (720x480 pixel). H.264, MJPEG and MPEG4 compression codecs are provided.

The Sony progressive scan CCD produces smooth, high-resolution 1280 x 960 (700 TV line equivalent) video images. Pixelated edges are eliminated by capturing the whole scene at the same time and even and odd fields are scanned simultaneously. Dual codec support provides the option to view/record video using either MJPEG (at very high resolution, up to 1280 x 960) or MPEG4 (higher compression, lower bandwidth). H.264 compression provides superior compression and video quality at resolutions of 1280x1024 with transmission speeds of up to 15fps. Image settings such as exposure, white balance, brightness, contrast, etc. can be adjusted to user preference.
